Transposition Deadline
Member States were required to adopt and publish the laws, regulations and administrative provisions necessary to comply with the Directive.
Full Application
The EAA becomes fully applicable across the EU. New products and services placed on the market must be accessible.
Service Transition Ends
End of the transition period for service providers using products already in use before this date.
Self-Service Terminals
Self-service terminals (e.g., ATMs, kiosks) lawfully in service before 28 June 2025 may continue operating for up to 20 years from their individual date of entry into use — Article 32(2). No single fixed EU-wide end date applies.
