Procurement Legal Pack
Fourteen EAA and WCAG 2.2 aligned contract clauses for vendor agreements, MSAs, and public procurement — each with plain-English explanations and negotiation guidance.
What is this?
This tool generates the legal documents you need to demonstrate EAA compliance to customers and regulators: your Accessibility Statement, Privacy Notice (accessibility data section), and Terms of Service addendum.
When do I need this?
Use this when preparing the legal documentation for EAA compliance, or when updating existing documents to reflect your accessibility commitments.
- 1Enter your organisation and product details — Legal name, product name, and contact details for accessibility queries.
- 2Select which documents you need — Choose from: Accessibility Statement (required by EAA Article 14), VPAT/ACR addendum, or full legal pack.
- 3Complete the compliance status fields — Be accurate about your current conformance level. State any known issues and your remediation timeline.
- 4Review the generated documents — Read through the output carefully. Have your legal team review the documents before publication.
- 5Publish and link from your footer — The Accessibility Statement must be easily findable — link it from your website footer on every page.
How to use this pack
1. Select your clauses
Start with all Essential clauses. Add Recommended clauses based on contract value and risk. Optional clauses apply to high-value or long-term relationships.
2. Read the guidance
Each clause includes a Purpose (what it does), Why It Matters (the legal and business rationale), How to Use (where and how to insert it), and Negotiation Tips (how to handle pushback).
3. Adapt and copy
Copy the verbatim clause text and adapt the bracketed variables [like this] to fit your specific contract. Share with your legal counsel before sending to a vendor.
